My name is Kilian Christanell. No nickname just Kilian. I’m 37 and I
live in Vienna – Austria. Originally I’m born in Bozen South Tyrol
/ Italy and came to Vienna for studying at University.
2- What did you do for living?
I am working at the Austrian Computer Society in the project European Computer
Driving Licence.)

4- When did you start to collect Sting items and why?
In 1991.
5- What do you collect (everything, just CD, vinyl…)?
Only cds – high quality (regualar cds no promos and bootlegs (only soundboard
recordings).
6- What is the item your are the proudest to have?
Acoustic Live in Newcastle. I think only 3000 copies are around – I
do have one this great concert. Sting played in 1987 in Switzerland. He played
a song of Wilhelm Tell – I do not know the name of the song, I know
only that he played in twice… any tape in circulation?
7- What is the item your definitely want to have?
There exists a version of acoustic live in Newcastle with 3 additional songs
(all this time, fragile and message in a bottle).
8- What is your best remember about Sting and/or collecting?
Art of the heart was my first bootleg and probably one of his best concerts…
I was in Greenwich Village New York in 1994 and found a little record shop
– I think I found about 40 bootlegs of Stings career…
9- How many time did you see sting/Police live?
Linz in 91, Vienna in 93, Wels, Vienna and Verona in 96/97, Burg Clam and
Munich in 2000, Vienna and Dublin in 2004. 9 concerts and the 10th will be
in June Bratislava (broken music tour…).
